It must have been faith that brought us together.

Knew the flirtin’ would eventually pay off.

But neva did I actually think it take off.

Sorry.

I did.

Cuz see you already had someone.

I just knew my chance was second to none.

Boy was I wrong. Cuz like most dudes he treated you wrong.

I’d be a fool if I just left you alone.

Left all alone, that’s not the right path for you queen.

You’re alive, you should be living your dreams.

I’ll try my best to make that possible,

Despite the run-ins with life’s obstacles.

That’s just something I feel I got to do.

I got you if you got me.

Just have to believe.

Cuz faith won’t let anything in between.
