And I constantly have this song on repeat…
Cuz all I can think about is her Sayin this to me…
Why did we meet?
Breaking up a happy home, I am first to disagree…
But I’m trapped in the middle of my morals and what I need…
So I scream…
And the thunder echoes…
The rain drops add to the mood I’m in…
Dark clouds shadow my mind…
Cuz I …
Want you…
This lifetime…
So tell me what am I supposed to do…
I wish Ms. Badu wrote a remix…
If these feelings are just a prefix of what’s to come…
Tomorrow can only get worst…
Or better…
Cuz I can tell that she wants me…
And I…
Want her too…
Where’s blue?
I need a clue…
Cuz her smile is tattooed…
NO!
Spray painted on the walls of my memory bank…
And every time I open my eyes I visualize
The time…
We spent together…
As friends…
But this friendship might have to end…
Cuz I can no longer pretend…
I wish she wasn’t with him…
And I respect her loyalty…
But damn I know deep down she wants me…
She tells me this all the time…
And all I could do is…
Smile…
And say yea I want you too…
Too bad you’re with somebody huh?
Then we both laugh it off…
Then pause…
Look up in the sky…

Knowing we can’t do anything…
Having enough respect for her current situation and all that…
But I’m passed the infatuation stage…
Past the liking stage…
I think I’m falling in love…
No I admit it…
I love her…
But I’m forced to be just a friend cuz she can’t leave him…
